When GAF needed a new distribution center to support its roofing manufacturing operations in Michigan City, the company partnered with the Design/Build team of Facet Architecture and Larson-Danielson Construction. The project includes a 200,000-square-foot industrial facility designed to support efficient shipping, receiving, and product distribution.
The building features a large warehouse equipped with four drive-in doors and 13 dock doors, along with dedicated support spaces including a truck lounge, dispatcher office, and restrooms. The office area includes private offices, a conference room, IT room, break room, and additional staff amenities. This industrial distribution center design supports the operational needs of a high-volume logistics facility while creating an efficient workspace for staff and drivers.
