When a local restaurateur set out to create a new dining destination overlooking Pine Lake, they partnered with Facet Architecture to bring their vision to life through thoughtful restaurant architecture and design. The 8,000 square foot, two-story Drift on Pine restaurant features family dining areas, three distinct bar experiences, rooftop seating, and a spacious patio with a fire pit, all designed to capture the surrounding lake views. Construction of the new facility transformed the historic site of the former Thunderbird Lanes into a vibrant hospitality destination that blends modern dining with community connection.
This restaurant architecture project highlights how intentional design enhances guest experience while supporting efficient restaurant operations. Facet Architecture provided comprehensive architectural design and structural engineering services, carefully balancing layout flow, customer engagement, and operational functionality. The finished space creates multiple dining environments while celebrating the site’s history and maximizing the natural beauty of Pine Lake.
