We are pleased to announce Drift on Pine, a lakeside gem in the heart of the La Porte community, has been honored with an Excellence in Construction Award. This accolade is a testament to the hard work, innovation, and dedication that went into making this project a shining example of architectural and structural brilliance.
Facet Architecture is proud to have provided architectural design services for Drift on Pine, a stunning new restaurant and bar. This 8,000 square foot, three-story establishment has quickly become a local favorite, offering a unique dining experience with a touch of elegance and comfort.
A Dining Experience Like No Other
Drift on Pine is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. The facility features family dining areas that are perfect for gatherings as well as a large patio with a cozy fire pit for those cool evenings.
In addition, the restaurant offers two breathtaking rooftop areas, and three distinctive bars, each with its own charm. All these spaces offer magnificent views of Pine Lake, making every visit a memorable one.
Community and Collaboration
The Excellence in Construction Award recognizes the highest standards in construction and design. Drift on Pine exemplifies this through its innovative use of space and materials, creating a welcoming atmosphere that elevates lakeside dining to new heights (Construction Industry Education Foundation, 2023).
The project revitalized a neglected site, the former Thunderbird Lanes which was demolished in 2019. Moreover, it brought a fresh, modern touch to the community, blending tradition with contemporary design.
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration and hard work of our incredible team and partners. From the initial conception to the final touches, every step of the process was a testament to the power of teamwork and creativity.
